Update 1.1.1

Thank you to everyone that's viewing and downloading the game, it means so much to me and is such a surreal experience to see the game i've created on YouTube but with your feedback, i hope we can create an amazing game!

Day One update!

V1.1.1 Additions

With some critical feedback from those that have played the game, brought to my attention how some things didn't work and/or weren't as intuitive as i may have hoped, I've taken on board alot of whats been said and tried to come up with a quick update to fix most of the glaring issues.

Map - Now pressing 'M' In game will display a map, this will assist you in navigating the tunnels as i understand previously most players were just aimlessly wandering around the darkness not making much progress, which may have became frustrating and boring. This was never the intention.

The map also displays key points of interests, all nearby locations that are available so far. (The Badlands is a section of the map that isn't finished yet, it isn't populated with anything significant, you can still go there, but its just tunnels)

Whilst also displaying all locations of the notes that you have to find. I found that with my system of hoping the player would stumble upon them by chance was a bad idea, it lead to un-creative gameplay and dis-interest. So now you can see where they are. It aslo displays the exit and some key points, like the exit door requires a 4 digit code, which is found from each note. (each note is labelled, #1 - #4 so you can understand the ordering of the code.)

Kill zone fixes - It was brought to my attention that some kill zones didnt work as intended, kill zones near 'The fire trap' have been reworked so they now display a death screen allowing the player to respawn. Previously they just killed the player and caused the player to have to close and restart the game, which is never fun.

Kill zones for players falling outside or under the map now also display a death screen allowing players to respawn too.


Spider cave - The spider cave area has now been added and has its own functional area pop up, with some resident spiders, one not so friendly but is also very blind, steer clear of him.


Lastly, i understand the AI is janky and gets stuck on some ledges, sometimes. This is a problem i am trying to fix and will have a smoother functioning AI system in the near future, where, hopefully they wont get stuck :)
