Update V1.3.2


Update V1.3.2!

With this update i wanted to add some vital things to the game.


As shown in the screenshots and the video, ive revamped the map and how it works.

1# . The previous map was a static image and was always just temporary until something better came along, well its come now.  The new map is accessed still via M and now it tracks the players location at all times, so if you get lost, bring up the map and you should be able to navigate your way back to 'safety'.

It shows a select section of the map at any time so you still have to explore the map to find everything, but now it should give you a better chance of doing so.

I think this is a massive step in the right direction, without making the game baby mode. the last map gave no correlation to the players position and if anything, made it more difficult and confusing, all that changes now.

Please bare in mind, ive ran through the game multiple times to check if the map is accurate to the game and ive done my best to fix any issues, but if you find an area that isn't accurately represented by the map, pleas let me know.

2# . ive added a quick opening splash screen that gives you some key controls and a briefing of what you're meant to do, its a quick work around for those that jump in and are immediately lost.


3# . ive added a moving compass to maps that need it, mainly just Woods, as you need to head in certain directions to find the notes and exits.

4# . Woods has had a bit of an atmosphere revamp, ive added visible rain and on screen rain effects that really add to the atmosphere and make it more of what i envisioned.

5# . Lastly, im constantly trying to get the AI to not be so weird which sure is a task, but ive made some more tweaks so most shouldn't get stuck on ledges, some might and blocks the way, but now with the map, at least you've got a good chance of finding a way around them c:
